Gift nest

My very talented and generous friend Beth has been single-handedly furnishing our new house on the Patuxent River. In exchange for lots of great stuff, including a bunk bed from her dad, Hugh, I have given him one of my nests. Since his mother was the owner of the lovely bird books that Beth has shared with me, it seems so appropriate that her family owns one of these precious nests.

Post-Artomatic

Artomatic is behind me and I am beginning to see the benefits of showing my work. I am more focused in my designs and in the way i approach the execution of the designs. Currently, I am working on a new nest design. The twigs are attached to the bowl. Fingers crossed that it survives the process.
